Jetour T1 plug-in hybrid coming to PH in late 2025
Upcoming Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM could sell for less than PHP 2 million

Remember when Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) announced they were going to bring more plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) into the country? After launching the T2 Lightning i-DM PHEV at this year’s Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), it will soon be joined by another PHEV crossover.
That’s right, Jetour’s lineup of i-DM PHEVs will soon include the T1 Lightning i-DM PHEV. It will join the likes of the Dashing i-DM, X70 i-DM, and the recently launched T2 Lightning i-DM. No exact details about the Philippine specifications have been revealed just yet, although a quick look at what the PRC gets has given us an idea of what to expect.

The T1 Lightning i-DM PHEV comes with a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 154 PS and 220 Nm of torque. It is then assisted by an electric motor that produces 201 PS with 310 Nm of pull, along with a 26.7 kWh battery pack. This gives the T1 PHEV the ability to travel up to 117 km without using a drop of fuel. More importantly, the T1 PHEV benefits from a V2L system to provide power to a worksite or campsite.
Other details about the upcoming T1 Lightning i-DM PHEV are not yet available. However, the automaker did share with us that they plan to bring it to the Philippines during the "ber" months. That means we can expect the T1 PHEV to make its way here in either late Q3 or Q4 2025. In addition, the T1 PHEV will only be offered as a 2WD crossover.

With Jetour Auto PH looking to bring more plug-in hybrids into the country, the automaker could soon only offer electrified models in the country.
