Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) has strengthened its commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction with the expansion of its Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) facility at the Suzuki Philippines Plant in Laguna. The upgraded facility enhances SPH’s capacity to meet growing market demand while ensuring every vehicle aligns with Suzuki’s global quality standards.

“The expansion of our PDI facility reflects Suzuki Philippines’ continued commitment to being truly By Your Side of every Filipino customer,” said Koichiro Hirao, President of Suzuki Philippines. “Through strategic investments in infrastructure and processes, we ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.”

The expansion includes over 36,000 square meters of concreted CBU stockyard, a three-lane PDI facility with standardized lighting and inspection pits for 100% underbody checks, two accessory installation lanes, a Body Repair & Painting and Technical Repair Facility, three accessory warehouses, and a centralized office for improved operational coordination. Completed in December 2025, the facility’s strategic location in Laguna allows efficient distribution to NCR, Luzon, and ports serving the Visayas and Mindanao.

“Through this expansion, we significantly improve operational efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to Suzuki’s global standards,” said Norihide Takei, Director and General Manager for the Automobile Division. “This allows faster delivery to dealers without compromising inspection quality.”

Regular audits by Suzuki Motor Corporation (Japan) ensure compliance with international standards. Safety enhancements, including a concreted stockyard, improved spacing, blind-spot reduction, and upcoming pit-occupancy sensors—along with continuous personnel training —support consistent, high-quality output.

Customers benefit from vehicles delivered in optimal, road-ready condition, while dealers enjoy faster processing, better inventory flow, and more reliable vehicle allocation. Designed for the future, the facility is equipped to handle upcoming models, including electric vehicles, with further upgrades planned, such as a Suzuki-standard paint booth, portable fueling equipment, bird deterrent systems, and solar power installations.

Through these initiatives, Suzuki Philippines continues to deliver quality vehicles and strengthen its support for the dealer network, ensuring a reliable and worry-free ownership experience for Filipino customers.
