Will this version of 2025 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro facelift come to PH soon?
With PIMS 2024 set for October, could we get the updated Chery Tiggo 8 Pro in the coming weeks?

At this year's Auto China held in Beijing, Chery revealed the facelifted Tiggo 8 Pro. Also called the Tiggo 8 Plus in its home market, the updated 7-seater crossover gets smooth curves in its latest redesign. It also has a more high-tech-looking interior complete with several amenities like dual charging pads, a panoramic sunroof, full leather upholstery, and many more.
Fast forward several months later, and it looks like we might get a different-looking refresh for the Tiggo 8 Pro. While China might get the Tiggo 8 Pro that was revealed in Beijing a few months ago, some export markets could instead get this.
This is the 2025 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro and it looks quite different from what the automaker revealed in Beijing. While we have no idea yet which of the two refreshed crossovers we'll get, the one that was recently launched in the PRC gets some neat upgrades inside and out.

Beginning with its exterior, the 2025 Tiggo 8 Pro gets a new trapezoidal grille along with a sleek set of LED headlights. Also changed are the LED taillights which are larger and feature a new full-width LED light bar. Size-wise, the Tiggo 8 Pro measures 4745mm long, 1860mm wide, 1745mm tall, and has a 2710mm wheelbase.
Hop inside and the updated crossover gets a fully digital dashboard that consists of a pair of 12.3-inch displays. The result is a total screen size that spans 24.6 inches. Both the digital instrument panel and the touchscreen infotainment system are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and offer a high-definition look.

Tan leather seats are available in the Tiggo 8 Pro along with neat touches of high gloss piano black accents. A flat bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel is also available as well as a panoramic sunroof. Other key features available inside the 2025 Tiggo 8 Pro include a wireless charging pad, Wi-Fi hotspot, power-adjustable front seats, front & rear center armrests, an 8-speaker sound system, intelligent voice control, and smart keyless entry.
Under the hood, the Tiggo 8 Pro continues to be available with two engine choices. First is the 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 197 PS with 290 Nm of torque and is paired with a 7-speed wet-type dual-clutch gearbox. Next is the more powerful 2.0L turbocharged inline-four which generates a meaty 251 PS and 390 Nm of pull. Instead of a dual-clutch transmission, the 2.0L turbo is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

With the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) set for next month, we're curious if Chery Auto Philippines will reveal the updated crossover at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Moreover, we're equally curious about which version of the refreshed Tiggo 8 Pro we'll get in the future.
