Auto China: 2025 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro looks like mini Tiggo 9
Check out the major (and subtle) changes of the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro for 2025

The Chery Tiggo 8 Pro has been with us for quite some time now. While it may be due for a replacement, the automaker has given its popular three-row crossover SUV another new lease on life. Making an appearance at this year’s Auto China in Beijing is the 2025 Tiggo 8 Pro, and yes it gets a plethora of upgrades inside & out.
Starting with the most obvious first, the exterior of the Tiggo 8 Pro has been given an extensive makeover. Borrowing some inspiration from the Tiggo 9, the three-row crossover SUV features similar-looking LED headlights along with the now-familiar octagon-shaped grille. But whereas the Tiggo 9 sports diamond-like inserts, the updated Tiggo 8 Pro comes with a mesh-like design that gives it a sporty yet luxurious look.

Also new on the 2025 Tiggo 8 Pro are the large multi-spoke alloy wheels, flush door handles, two-tone black roof finish, refreshed LED taillights, piano black exterior accents, and additional body cladding.
Thanks to the fresh new look on the outside, the Tiggo 8 Pro for the 2025 model year looks like a mini Tiggo 9. But what about its interior? Well, Chery was also quite busy giving it a fresh redesign. For starters, there’s a new center console with a pair of wireless charging pads, a new rotary-style dial for the infotainment system, and a dedicated panel for the HVAC system.

Where’s the gear selector? It’s now placed on the right stalk which allowed Chery to free up more space for the cabin. Not only that, but the dashboard redesign also allowed the automaker to put a bigger digital instrument panel as well as a larger touchscreen infotainment system that appears to be the same size as the one found on the Tiggo 9 at 15.2 inches.
Other key features present inside the 2025 Tiggo 8 Pro include a large panoramic sunroof, full leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats with memory function, a power tailgate with anti-pinch automatic opening, heated/ventilated front seats, and wireless connectivity features.

Under the hood, the Tiggo 8 Pro continues to be available with a wide array of powertrain options. These include the 1.6-liter turbo producing 197 PS with 290 Nm of torque, the more powerful 2.0-liter turbo AWD that generates 254 PS with 390 Nm of pull, and the 1.5T PHEV that has a combined system output of 320 PS and 510 Nm of torque.
With the Tiggo 8 Pro receiving another facelift, the three-row crossover SUV looks brand-new from the ground up. However, we won’t be surprised if Chery is already busy developing the next-generation model for the coming years.
