This Yenko S/C Corvette packs a 1000 HP twin-turbo V8
Specialty Vehicle Engineering builds a 1000 HP twin-turbo Yenko Corvette

The Chevrolet Camaro may have gone out of production, but the folks over at Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) are keeping the “Yenko S/C” alive with Chevy’s other sports car, the Corvette.
SVE’s latest product is the 2024 Yenko S/C Corvette. And yes, we can’t help but remember the 2 Fast 2 Furious Yenko Camaro with those decals and the signature blue color. But this isn’t old school anymore – it’s new school, but still very much an American muscle.

Traditionally, the “S/C” in the Yenko branding during the 60s stood for supercharged. But with the 2024 C8 Corvette, the Yenko treatment features the sports car’s 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine fitted with two water-cooled turbochargers.
To cope with forced induction, SVC also gave the V8 forged internals, CNC ported cylinder heads, a custom intake manifold, and an upgraded fuel system. Together with a custom tune, the LT2 in the Yenko S/C Corvette makes 1,000 horsepower. Likewise, the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission has been reinforced to handle the added power.

As with the Yenko Camaros of yore, the Corvette gets the “SYC” logo embroidered on the headrests and floor mats. Other Yenko specials include red brake calipers, custom valve covers, unique exhaust tips, and three choices of staggered 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels to choose from.
Since SVE only offers the Yenko S/C upgrade as a package, customers can choose any factory Corvette color while the SYC graphics are being offered in ten color choices, including a carbon-fiber option.
SVE will only build 10 examples of the Yenko S/C Corvette this year, but they plan to build up to 50 by 2025. Excluding the Corvette C8, the Yenko package will cost just under USD 100,000 or around PHP 5.732M
