SPIED: Refreshed BMW M5 Touring spotted inside & out
Our spies were able to take a peek inside the Neue Klasse M5 Touring

It was not too long ago when our spies managed to spot the refreshed G99 BMW M5 Touring being driven in the snow. Despite the camouflage livery, it's quite clear that the updated plug-in hybrid wagon will get the Neue Klasse makeover. This means we can expect the high-performance wagon to come with updated headlights & taillights, a redesigned grille, and perhaps a new set of wheels to go along with the redesign.
Now, the updated BMW M5 Touring has been spotted once more, this time in Germany. While it looks the same as the ones our spies spotted back in February, the high-performance wagon, our spies managed to take a picture of the M5 Touring's new interior.

Based on our spy photos, the redesigned cabin will feature the brand's Panoramic iDrive, which was first used in the all-new iX3. That means this design feature will most likely be standard for all M5 models. Also present is what looks to be an M Sport steering wheel and an updated center console to go with the Panoramic iDrive.

The rest of the vehicle looks the same as before. But since it doesn't have any snow, we were able to get a clearer view of the changes. These include the new dual-kidney grille design, a new set of LED headlights that are more elongated, and a sportier front bumper. Also present are what appear to be refreshed alloy wheels and new LED taillight graphics.

As for the powertrain, the twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain will likely meet Euro7 emission standards. This could mean a slight dip in power, but at least the M5 Touring will continue to exist amid stricter emission laws in Europe.

When can we expect the refreshed M5 Touring to be revealed? Well, according to our spies, it might take until the second half of 2027 for the high-performance PHEV wagon to make its official debut.
