Save the date: Mitsubishi PH to preview all-new Triton October 20
All-new Triton pickup truck to be previewed on MMPC's Facebook page on October 20, 6:00 PM

For pickup truck fans, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has something that you could add to your Christmas wishlist or your bucket list for 2024.
After making its global debut in Thailand a couple of months ago, it's time for the Philippines to get a glimpse of the all-new Mitsubishi Triton. MMPC will be holding an online preview of the pickup truck this coming Friday, October 20 on their official Facebook page.

Based on the invite sent to us by MMPC, it appears that the all-new Triton being previewed on Friday will come in the top-spec Athlete variant, as the truck has roof rails and a sports bar on its bed. We have yet to confirm if other variants of the all-new Triton will also be previewed.
Based on our previous information, MMPC applied for three separate approvals for a vehicle with a 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine. This leads us to believe Mitsubishi PH may offer the all-new Triton's 4N16 MIVEC turbodiesel engine in three different states of tune.

When it was launched in Thailand, the most powerful version of the 4N16 had a twin-turbo setup, producing 204 PS and 470 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the single turbo versions came with 184 PS and 430 Nm of torque and 150 PS and 330 Nm of torque, respectively.
MMPC President Takeshi Hara said back at the Mitsubishi 60th anniversary expo that the all-new Triton will go on sale by January 2024. So have their plans changed? Let's stay tuned on Friday.
