Reservations for 2024 Kia Sonet now open in PH
Indicative pricing of Kia Sonet will start at PHP 770k

Remember when Kia Philippines teased an all-new vehicle last week? Despite the brand's best efforts to hide what it was, our insiders told us that the brand's upcoming vehicle is the Sonet. Heck, we even found out about the number of variants and indicative pricing which will supposedly start below PHP 800,000.
Fast forward a week later and Kia Philippines has officially confirmed that they will be launching the Sonet. In fact, the automaker has just announced that the first units of the crossover are now in the country.

Fresh off the boat and awaiting to be delivered to dealerships, the 2024 Kia Sonet will serve as the brand's newest entry-level crossover. It's set to enter the Philippine market starting in June and will have an indicative price that will begin at PHP 770,000 for the base model LX MT.
Other variants of the 2024 Sonet have yet to be revealed by the automaker. But based on what we've gathered so far, the variant range will also feature the LX AT which will apparently sell for PHP 870,000. Next is the EX AT which could retail for PHP 990,000. Last but not least is the top-of-the-line SX AT which will reportedly have a price tag of just under PHP 1.1 million.

Based on regulatory approval, the PH-spec Sonet will have a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 113 PS with 144 Nm of torque. No transmission options were mentioned although we won't be surprised it will be available with a 6-speed manual or an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).
“The Kia Sonet is one of the most popular models in Kia’s global lineup, and it promises to fulfill the needs of young individuals and families with its crossover credentials and rich feature set,” said Brian Buendia, Chief Operating Officer at Kia Philippines.

The Kia Sonet is now available for pre-orders and reservations at any of the brand's 40 authorized dealerships.
