NLEX Connector joins free toll caravan during EDSA rehab
Another alternative route to bypass EDSA

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced that Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) has joined the bayanihan caravan by also providing free tolls through its NLEX Connector elevated expressway during the EDSA Rehabilitation.
“The Department of Transportation extends its heartfelt gratitude to the San Miguel Corp. Tollways and Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. for lending a helping hand and offering to implement a toll holiday on the Skyway Stage 3 and NLEX Connector as alternate routes during the entire duration of the EDSA rebuild,” said DOTr through a statement.

Though the free toll entry/exit details are yet to be finalized, the NLEX Connector stretches from Mel Lopez (R-10) Boulevard in Manila to Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City, with entry and exit points in NLEX (Smart Connect), España Boulevard, Magsaysay Ave., and 5th Avenue in Caloocan.
The DOTr earlier announced that parts of Skyway Stage 3 will be toll-free for the duration of the EDSA rehab, which could last until 2027.
