Nissan confirms third-gen Navara to get major redesign in 2026
The D23 Nissan Navara will soldier on and will get huge changes

If there’s one vehicle in Nissan’s lineup that needs a full or minor model change, it’s probably the Navara pickup truck. It’s been on sale for more than a decade and has only undergone a slight facelift in 2020 as well as an interior makeover in 2024 which now gives it the dashboard of the Terra.
With the third-generation D23 Navara due for another refresh or a complete change, we’re expecting Nissan to give it the attention it needs as it’s one of the brand’s most important models.
Luckily, Nissan has just confirmed that the Navara will indeed change. Recently, the automaker outlined its new products and next-generation technologies that Nissan will unveil in the coming years. One of those is the Navara, which is set to come with an “evolved design, enhanced infotainment, and an impressive suite of advanced driver assist technologies”.
Based on the teaser photo the automaker provided, the Navara will get a meaner and more aggressive look. It’s set to get new LED daytime running lights, a restyled grille complete with a red Nissan logo, a more aggressive bumper, and bolder fender flares on the wheel arches.

Thanks to photo editing, we were also able to brighten up the teaser image and see more of the upcoming vehicle. While we can expect the concept design to be toned down for the production vehicle, it’s nice to see that Nissan appeared to have drawn inspiration from past concepts and current variants like the Navara Pro-4X Warrior and the Dark Sky concept to redesign the midsize pickup truck.
Other details about the refreshed Nissan Navara remain a mystery. However, the brand did say the “evolved” Navara is set to arrive in Latin American markets in the fiscal year (FY) 2026. That means we’ll have to wait for a little while longer to see the facelifted Navara.
As to when we can expect its arrival in Southeast Asia, our friends over at headlightmag reported that the updated Nissan Navara is set to be launched in Thailand in early 2027. Like its predecessor, the redesigned Navara will be produced at the automaker’s Thailand factory and will be joined by the all-new third-generation Nissan Leaf, which has transformed into a crossover.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on the upcoming developments of the Nissan Navara in the coming years.
