LOOK: Suzuki PH testing 2024 Jimny 5-Door on the trail
According to an anonymous source; the Jimny 5-Door is set to be launched by end of January 2024

2023 is coming to a close very soon as 2024 is just right around the corner. But before we get to say goodbye to the year that was, we have received new information about the upcoming Suzuki Jimny 5-Door.
We already know that the 5-Door Jimny could start at PHP 1.588 million and may be available in two variants. Heck, we already saw several units of the 4x4 SUV being transported via a carrier on local roads. So when can we expect the automaker to hold the big reveal?

We need not wait long as according to an insider who wished anonymity, Suzuki Philippines will be revealing the Jimny 5 Door on January 25, 2024. That’s right, the longer and more practical Jimny will be launched by the end of next month.
More importantly, we also managed to get spy photos of the Jimny 5-Door being tested somewhere in the country. Based on the pictures we received, the 5-Door version will look (almost) similar to that of the 3-Door variant. However, we did notice that the grille of the Jimny 5-Door appears to have a different finish which could be Suzuki’s way of making it stand out from the 3-Door.
Also worth mentioning is the fact that the 5-Door that was recently spotted is finished in a distinct red hue. This means interested buyers of the Jimny 5-Door will be able to select new colors that may not be available for the standard 3-Door.

Official specifications are not yet available but we can expect the 5-Door to come with the 1.5-liter K15B four-cylinder engine. It could then be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission complete with the brand’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system & 4H (4WD-High) and 4L (4WD-Low) transfer box.
With less than a month before its official unveiling, expect to see more sightings (and perhaps details) of the 2024 Suzuki Jimny 5-Door as we draw closer to its launch.
