Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM PHEV now selling for less than PHP 1.5M
Jetour Auto PH lowers SRP of the X70 Lightning i-DM, undercutting similarly-sized and smaller hybrids

Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) is giving interested buyers a very good reason to buy one of their plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). After launching the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM earlier this year with a price tag of PHP 1.648 million, JAPI has lowered the suggested retail price of the 7-seater plug-in hybrid.
That's right, the electrified three-row crossover SUV from Jetour is now selling for only PHP 1.498 million. This makes it more affordable than the likes of the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i, as well as the 7-seater BYD Tang DM-i, which is selling for PHP 2.098 million. It also undercuts smaller hybrid crossovers such as the Toyota Corolla Cross HEV and the Honda HR-V e:HEV.

According to JAPI, the decision to lower the price of the X70 i-DM is a direct response to the demands of the Philippine market, as families seek vehicles offering ample space, fuel efficiency to manage rising costs, and modern technology at an accessible price point.

“The new price of the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM directly reflects what Filipino consumers have been asking for: a vehicle that combines intelligent dual-motor technology with the space and comfort needed for everyday family life, now more accessible without compromising quality or performance. We are not just adjusting prices; we are reshaping expectations. The upcoming addition to our Lightning i-DM series will continue this approach—offering sustainability, practicality, and value in a way that turns heads and meets real needs,” said Miguelito Jose, Managing Director of Jetour Auto Philippines Inc.
As before, the X70 Lightning i-DM is a 7-seater crossover SUV that's powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine that makes 156 PS and 220 Nm of torque. It is then assisted by a 19.43 kWh lithium ternary battery pack and a dual-motor system that provides an additional 270 PS and a generous 395 Nm of torque. Power is then transferred to the wheels via a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT).

Jetour claims that on a full charge and a full tank of gasoline, the X70 Lightning i-DM can cover up to 1,200 km. On battery power alone, the automaker claims the PHEV can travel up to 110 km without using a single drop of fuel, based on the CLTC cycle. If you need to power up a campsite or your home during a blackout, the X70 Lightning i-DM features a vehicle-to-load (V2L) system that supports up to 6.6 kW of power.
With JAPI set to launch another i-DM plug-in hybrid model soon (which could be the T1 Lightning), the automaker is adamant to offer more feature-packed electrified vehicles that also offer value for money.
