Is Jetour Auto PH bringing T1 plug-in hybrid at PIMS 2024?
PIMS 2024 will see Jetour reveal what could be the T1 PHEV and a mystery EV

We're only a couple of weeks away from the 9th Philippine International Motor Show. Several automakers have already released teasers ahead of the biennial motor show and have plenty to showcase come October 24.
Joining the teaser bandwagon is Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) which recently gave us a glimpse of their upcoming vehicles that will debut at PIMS 2024. While the automaker is not yet ready to fully reveal what they have in store, we already have a good idea of what to expect.

Starting with the vehicle front and center, we initially thought it would be a new variant of the T2 4x4. However, after getting a better look at the teaser image, it appears Jetour could instead bring the T1. Featuring a boxy exterior and a distinct-looking front fascia inspired by the T2, the T1 is a compact crossover SUV that's available with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain.
Side-by-side with the press photos Jetour recently released, the teaser photo, and the images the automaker revealed yesterday have some clear similarities. These include the eye-catching LED lighting signatures, the square body, the massive side mirrors, and the rugged front bumper.

No exact specifications are available at this time. However, it will likely come with a 1.5L turbocharged inline-four, assisted by an electric motor, and a 26.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Based on unconfirmed claims, the vehicle will have a total system output of over 600 PS and will have a total system range of around 1,400 km. On pure electric power alone, however, the T1 PHEV is estimated to have up to 114 km of range.

Aside from the supposed T1 making its Philippine debut, Jetour Auto Philippines will also be revealing another vehicle. Details about the other vehicle are still scarce but based on an anonymous source, the other mystery vehicle will apparently be an electric vehicle (EV).
With only a couple of weeks away before PIMS 2024, we will keep our eyes peeled for any new information about Jetour's upcoming reveals.
