Ford PH hints at launch of two new models at PIMS 2026
Ford PH could launch updated Everest and Ranger at 2026 Philippine International Motor Show

A few weeks ago, we reported about Ford Philippines receiving regulatory approval for a diesel-powered light-duty vehicle (pickup truck) and a passenger vehicle with an engine displacement of 2993cc, making us think they could be preparing to introduce the V6 turbodiesel-powered Ranger and Everest to the Philippine market.
We got in touch with Ford PH during their first Island Conquest mall tour for the year, and the signs are very well pointing in that direction.

Pedro Simoes, the Managing Director of Ford Philippines, highlighted the Blue Oval’s activities for the year, which are all pointed towards bringing the Ford brand closer to customers through aftersales services and road shows. But towards the end of his message, Simoes confirmed Ford’s participation at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show with two mystery models shown in his presentation.
While Simoes did not further disclose more details about these two new models, the silhouette gave hints that Ford could be launching the updated Everest and Ranger at PIMS 2026. The update could come at a new variant, or a refresh of the existing model lineup of the Everest and the Ranger.
Likewise, Ford has also received regulatory approval for a pickup and an SUV equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel. If our crystal ball is right, this could be the updated 2.0-liter, single turbo engine that now has a chain-driven timing system instead of the wet belt setup.

That said, we would not be surprised if a major overhaul of the Ranger and Everest lineup comes around PIMS 2026, with new engines and smaller updates to the features list.
With Ford confirming the Everest as the number 1 midsize 4x4 SUV in the country, the Blue Oval could very well establish itself stronger with these updates this year.
