Chery Auto PH to launch 2025 Tiggo 2 Pro at 9th PIMS

A few weeks ago, Chery Auto Philippines released a teaser image of two vehicles that will make their official debut at the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). Based on the thinly-veiled vehicles as shown in the teaser, it looks like the brand will reveal the refreshed Tiggo 2 Pro and Tiggo 5X Pro.

Two days before the show opens to the public, the automaker has announced they will unveil the Tiggo 2 Pro at the biennial motor show. Set to offer a more high-tech, stylish, and practical means of driving, the updated Tiggo 2 Pro will feature more prominent styling as well as new features to make every drive fun and safe.
Aside from that, Chery Auto Philippines will also hold a preview of the Tiggo 5X Pro. Also called the Tiggo 4 in other markets, the B-segment crossover will feature a Tiggo 7 Pro-like facelift thanks to a sleeker set of LED headlights along with a new grille design.

No official specifications have been revealed just yet although we can expect the Tiggo 2 Pro to come with a new 1.5L DOHC four-cylinder engine that's paired with a 9-speed CVT. Meanwhile, the Tiggo 5X Pro will get the carried-over 1.5L turbocharged engine that puts out 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque.
Aside from that, Chery Auto will also offer test drives of the new Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 5X Pro Hybrid, Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, and the Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV.

Last, but not least, the Chery Tiggo Crossovers volleyball team will be at this year’s PIMS more exciting for Chery Auto Philippines as the team is set to have a meet and greet with their fans on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Fans and visitors will have the chance to connect with their favorite volleyball stars and even snag some exclusive merchandise signed by the players.
The 2024 Philippine International Motor Show is slated to happen from Oct 24 to 27 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City.
