Check out these cute Mitsubishi Delica Minis at 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon

Mitsubishi is putting out all the stops for this year's Tokyo Auto Salon with the Delica Festival. We've already seen the automaker show three unique Delica D:5 builds for the upcoming annual auto show. However, that's not all Mitsubishi has in store once the doors at Makuhari Messe open starting tomorrow, January 9.

Also set to make their presence felt are several customized Delica Minis, and boy, do they look cute and ready for adventures.

Let's start with the cutest of them all, the Delica Mini Delimaru Festa. It features the kei car's mascot called “Delimaru”. Despite having ferocious teeth, Delimaru is a sweet puppy with large eyes that embodies the kei car's playful and adventurous spirit. The Delica Mini Delimaru Festa features playful touches of decals and wraps of Delimaru. There's also a giant Delimaru on top of the kei car that's dressed in the traditional Japanese happi coat.

Next is the Delica Mini Ultimate Gear, which features an exclusive two-tone finish with an enhanced rugged textured coating for added toughness. It's also equipped with a roof rack, a front grille guard, a rear ladder, and a 20mm suspension lift kit to take on the road less traveled with ease. All of these features allow the Delica Mini Ultimate Gear to tackle the challenging terrain.

Those who plan on taking the Delica Mini on a camping adventure can check out the Active Camper. It has a pop-up roof, a front skid bar, and mud flaps. It also has a suspension lift kit that raises its ride height by 25mm for better off-road capability. Last but not least are custom alloy wheels and off-road tires to help it go over any type of terrain.

Also set to make its presence felt at Makuhari Messe is the Delica Mini x Dali with DAMD. Revealed earlier this week, the kei car pays homage to the Pajero with a customized front fascia that resembles the first-generation SUV. It blends retro charm with a cute yet rugged styling, complete with unique decals, colors, and other exterior features.

Last but not least is the Delica Mini Wild Adventure Style. It's equipped with genuine Mitsubishi accessories, along with a camouflage pattern decal. The kei car also comes with a dedicated roof rack and mud flaps that give the vehicle a tougher appearance.
