CAVITEX C5 Link R-1 Interchange girder has been installed
Once finished, motorists will soon be able to travel from C5 all the way to CAVITEX seamlessly

A couple of weeks ago, the Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) announced that they would conduct girder installation on the CAVITEX C5 Link R-1 Interchange. The goal is to provide a direct link from CAVITEX R-1 (Coastal Road) to Sucat Road in Paranaque City.
Today, the CIC announced that they had successfully completed the girder installation for the CAVITEX C5 Link R-1 Interchange located near the CAVITEX Paranaque Toll Plaza. Work finished ahead of schedule and will provide motorists direct access from Coastal Road to Sucat Road once it’s officially opened to the public in Q1 2024.

The R-1 Interchange will serve as a vital 1.9-km section (Segment 2) within the greater CAVITEX C5 Link Project. After completion, the 7.7-km 2x3 lane expressway will benefit 50,000 motorists daily and seamlessly connect CAVITEX R-1 to C5 Road in Taguig.

More importantly, the CAVITEX C5 Link Expressway is also poised to reduce travel time by 30 minutes for those going to Makati, Pasay, and Taguig. Simultaneously, it is also expected to decongest traffic in both EDSA and Sales Road.
