Counterflow scheme on CAVITEX Manila-bound starts tonight
CAVITEX to close down Manila-bound lane to give way to girder launching

For those who frequently use CAVITEX going to and from Manila, you might want to plan your trips in advance for at least the upcoming two weeks.
Starting tonight, September 15 and until September 19, the Manila-bound lane near the Parañaque Toll Plaza will be closed down from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM to give way to the girder launching activity for the CAVITEX C5 Link Expressway.

During those times, a counterflow lane in the affected area will be opened on the Cavite-bound side of CAVITEX to allow Manila-bound motorists to pass through.
On the other hand, the Cavite-bound lane will likewise be closed from September 19 to 25 every 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM for the same construction activity.

Once finished, the CAVITEX C5 Link Expressway is expected to reduce travel time by 30 minutes to those going to Makati, Pasay and Taguig areas while helping decongest traffic in EDSA as well as in Sales Road.
