2025 Geely EX5 EV for PH has 425 km range
Land Transportation Office homologation documents let us learn more about the Geely EX5

Geely Motor Philippines has officially relaunched in the market, and part of their presentation during their relaunch was the preview of the EX5.
The electric crossover is basically Geely’s contender that will go up against the likes of the BYD Atto 3. While Geely PH has already made the model available for pre-order, there are still a few details about the EV that we are yet to be familiar with.

Luckily, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has released the homologation documents for the Geely EX5, which contains a few more important details about the electric crossover.
According to the document, the EX5 will have a single-motor, front-wheel-drive setup that produces 218 PS and 320 Nm of torque. The EV crossover was also labeled as the EX5 Max, indicating that the model is equipped with the larger 60.2 kWh LFP battery pack that gives up to 425 km of range.

Other details include the EX5's electric architecture that allows for 100kW DC charging - juicing up the battery from 30% to 80% in 20 minutes. Meanwhile, AC charging to full will take around 6.1 hours based on the document. The EX5 supports up to 11 kW AC charging, and it also comes with a vehicle-to-load (V2L) system and a vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) power transfer system.
Currently, the EX5 is available for pre-selling and will start at PHP 1.79M, but Geely has yet to give us dates for its official launch. If we’re right about this one, Geely could be waiting for April’s Manila International Auto Show to hold the grand launch of the EX5 in the country.
