2025 Geely EX5 previewed in PH
2025 Geely EX5 makes its Philippine debut at brand's relaunch party

The new Geely Motor Philippines has officially relaunched in the market, and along with it is a sneak peek of their challenger in the electric crossover segment.
Making its first Philippine preview is the 2025 Geely EX5. The crossover will begin the revitalization of the brand's lineup that will consist of BEVs, PHEVs, and traditional ICEs.

The EX5 follows a smooth and curvaceous design for a sleek and upmarket outlook. Featuring the new Geely logo front and center on the closed-off grille, the front end gets a full LED lighting affair.

At the rear, the EX5 appears to have been inspired by the Porsche Cayenne with its full width LED taillights, while the look is finished off with diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Inside, the PH spec EX5 features a gray and black interior combination with a massive touchscreen infotainment system dominating the dashboard. There's also a digital instrument cluster and the sound system is courtesy of FLYME.

While official specs are yet to be released, the EX5 could be running a single motor setup producing 218 PS and 320 Nm of torque, powered by either a 49.52 kWh or a 60.22 kWh Aegis short-blade LFP battery. The former provides up to 345 km of range while the bigger battery takes the EX5 up to nearly 500 km based on the NEDC cycle. Performance-wise, the EX5’s electric setup can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.

In terms of charging, the EX5's architecture allows for 100kW DC charging, juicing up the battery from 30% to 80% in 20 minutes. It supports up to 11 kW AC charging, and it also comes with a vehicle-to-load (V2L) system, and a vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) power transfer system.
The 2025 Geely EX5 is now available for pre-selling, where interested customers can get up to PHP 110,000 discount when they pay a reservation fee of PHP 10,000.
