2024 Suzuki XL7 Hybrid debuts with PHP 50K early-bird discount
The Suzuki XL7 Hybrid begins at PHP 1.252 million

The cat is officially out of the bag for Suzuki Philippines Inc. After receiving plenty of insider information as well as info from the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Suzuki Philippines has officially revealed the 2024 XL7 Hybrid.
Essentially the taller and more rugged version of the Ertiga Hybrid, the electrified XL7 first made its regional debut in Indonesia last year and comes with a similar mild-hybrid powertrain. Under the hood is the Suzuki Smart Hybrid Vehicle System (SHVS) which consists of a 1.5-liter K15B four-cylinder engine that’s assisted by an integrated starter generator (ISG), and a lithium-ion battery pack. The engine is then paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The result is a combined system output of 105 PS at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm. Its ISG may only deliver an extra 2.5 PS, but it delivers extra pulling power that’s rated at 50 Nm. More importantly, the SHVS provides the powertrain with an engine auto stop/start system that Suzuki claims improves fuel efficiency by 13% in urban driving conditions. It also has a claimed fuel efficiency rating of 22.03 km/L on highways as observed by The Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP).

As far as its looks are concerned, the 2024 XL7 Hybrid features a slightly updated exterior that sees it get a tweaked grille, a new blacked-out panel on the tailgate, as well as a flashier set of LED taillights.

Hop inside and the XL7 Hybrid greets occupants with a black cabin that’s accentuated by silver metallic door accents - resulting in a sleek interior. There are also silver accents on the dashboard which further give the high-riding electrified MPV a snazzier appearance. Providing in-car entertainment comes in the form of a 10-inch touchscreen media display that comes with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity. In case you want to keep your drinks cool, the XL7 Hybrid also gets ventilated cup holders at the front.
Other key features present inside the XL7 Hybrid include a new sporty gauge cluster with integrated multi-info display, automatic climate control with rear vents, a driver’s seat height adjuster, push-button start, a navigation system, a 6-speaker sound system, and cruise control.

A wide array of safety features come as standard in the 2024 XL7 Hybrid. These include; anti-lock brakes, an electronic stability program, hill-hold control (AKA hill-start assist), a reverse camera, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and dual front airbags.

This will entitle them to a PHP 50,000 early reservation promo discount which will be deducted from the total suggested retail price (SRP).
