2024 GWM Tank 300 launched for PHP 2.678M
Comes with a 2.0L turbo engine, a 4WD system with locking differentials, and plenty of in-car amenities

After previewing its go-anywhere 4x4 SUV last October, GWM distributor Luxuriant Automotive Group Inc. has officially launched the 2024 Tank 300.

While the automaker initially said they would price it around PHP 2.6 million, they have officially announced that the Tank 300 has a suggested retail price of PHP 2.678 million. It's slightly more expensive than the indicative pricing they first mentioned, but only just.

As for the Tank 300 itself, the bonafide 4x4 machine not only looks the part but it comes with a long list of features that include a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a 4WD system, and a bevy of in-car amenities.
Beginning with its engine, the 2.0L turbo makes 220 PS with 380 Nm of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF. As mentioned earlier, it has a 4WD system complete with front & rear locking differentials. It even gets an all-terrain mode selector, crawl control, and tank (turn assist).

Inside, the Tank 300 comes with a fully loaded cabin. A pair of 12.3-inch screens are placed on the dashboard which serve as the 4x4's instrument panel and touchscreen infotainment. It also comes with LED ambient lighting, Nappa leather seats, a 360-degree camera system, a sunroof, a cooling box, a wireless charging pad, a 9-speaker Infinity sound system, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Size-wise, the Tank 300 measures 4760mm long, 1930mm wide, 1903mm tall, and has a 2750mm wheelbase. For peace of mind off-road, the 4x4 also gets 224mm of ground clearance, approach/departure angles of 33 degrees & 34 degrees, accordingly, and 700mm of water wading depth.
