You can now buy a Toyota Vios race car for just Php 1.4 million
Toyota Motor Philippines is now selling the Toyota Vios OMR car for only Php 1.4 million

Been wanting to join the Vios Racing Festival? Well, now you can.
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is now selling the Vios One Make Race (OMR) car to the public. You won’t be breaking the bank either as the racing-spec Vios is priced at only Php 1.4 million, and is now available for order at all Toyota dealerships nationwide. Now, you might say it is a bit hefty for a Vios. However, do remember that the top-of-the-line 1.5 G CVT Prime is already Php 1,098,000. Just Php 300,000 more, and you can go racing with some of the best and upcoming drivers in the country.
Based on the Vios 1.5 G variant, the brand-new Vios OMR cars for sale are identical to the ones used at the on-going Vios Racing Festival season. Under the hood, they pack the same 1.5-liter engine which produces 106 PS and 140 Nm torque. No CVT here as only a 5-speed manual is available.
In order to look more like a race car, all OMR cars come equipped with a TRD Aero kit. For better handling and performance on the track, the OMR has been modified with a TRD clutch cover and disc, limited slip differential, muffler set, suspension, and intake. Other modifications include a roll cage, OMP bucket seats, seat belts, steering wheel, pedals, and a fire extinguisher.

If you buy an OMR car now, you are automatically eligible to join the circuit format of the VRF this November under the Promotional Class. For buyers who will purchase after the 2019 season ends, they will start racing in the 2020 season.
“By making the Vios OMR available to the public, Toyota is helping to promote the grassroots motorsports scene by making it a more inclusive sport for all racing fans. Instead of simply being spectators, future owners are encouraged to enroll at the Toyota Racing School and participate in the upcoming legs of our Vios Racing Festival series,” said Cristina Arevalo, TMP First vice president.
For the latest Toyota news and information, visit TMP’s official website at www.toyota.com.ph and follow the official Facebook page at www.fb.com/ToyotaMotorPhilippines. To know more about the Vios OMR, you may visit to any of the 70 Toyota dealerships nationwide. The OMR car is available while supplies last.
