2026 Toyota GR Philippine Cup season put on hold due to fuel crisis
Toyota Motor Philippines announces TGR Philippine Cup events on hold until further notice

Yesterday, the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) announced a temporary suspension of organizing permits for all AAP-sanctioned motorsports events in the country.
With the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup sanctioned by the national auto club, Toyota Motor Philippines has followed the initiative of AAP, placing all upcoming racing events on hold until further notice.
The official statement can be read below:

The second of four race weekends of the 2026 season of Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup will be held supposedly on July 9 to 11 at the Clark International Speedway.
While the current circumstances don’t look good for our energy sector, here’s to hoping by July (or earlier), the crisis de-escalates so we can see some racing action again.
