We want to go racing in the Toyota GR Supra GT4
You can soon buy your very own GR Supra GT4 racecar from Toyota Gazoo Racing

For those who plan on taking the brand new Toyota GR Supra to the track, there are two ways to go about it. The first way is by simply modifying the standard GR Supra you can order from the dealership, fitting it with aftermarket parts and tuning it to handle the way you want to. The second (and more expensive) way is to just buy a Supra GT4 from Toyota. It's not exactly street-legal per se, but it will be very fast on the race track. It is also eligible for various race series if you want to take things to the next level.

Toyota Gazoo Racing has announced that the GR Supra GT4 will be launched in 2020 and is developed from the GT4 Concept shown at Geneva earlier this year. Based on the A90 road car, the GT4 is developed and produced by Toyota Motorsport GmbH, the same guys responsible for most of the brand's motorsports-oriented machines.
Modifications to the Supra are somewhat subtle considering it is intended to race in the GT4 class in different series all over the world, including Japan’s Super Taikyu Series, the GT4 European Series and VLN Endurance Championship Nurburgring in Europe.

Externally, the body lines remain relatively the same to the road-car except for the addition of a front splitter, rear diffuser, and a large rear wing. Inside, however, the cabin has undergone massive changes making it a proper race car. The GT4 features a custom carbon fiber dashboard and with floor-mounted pedal boxes. The steering wheel is uniquely designed with just two spokes at the end. Full bucket seats and a roll cage ensures that occupants are safe.

Full specs and details have yet to be announced, but it's safe to assume that it will continue to use the same 3.0-liter turbocharged engine as the road car. It will, however, likely be tuned to meet race regulations all around the world.
