We like Alpine's colors for 2021 Renault F1 rebrand
Renault to be renamed Alpine F1 team with new blue oriented scheme

For the 2021 Formula 1 seasons, fans will be bidding farewell to the Renault name. But don’t worry though: the French team is not going anywhere. Instead, they are officially changing their name.
For the 2021 season, Renault will be renaming its team after French sportscar builder – Alpine – and will be officially called the Alpine F1 Team. Yes, the very same Alpine brand famed for the A110 coupe.
The name change is meant to promote the French sports car marque as Renault’s performance brand. They didn't show much of the new livery, but we expect the 2021 Formula 1 car will pay tribute to the French tricolor flag sporting a blue-white-red color scheme which they also use on their cars. Despite changing names, the powertrain of their 2021 challenger will continue to be called the Renault E-tech hybrid.

“Alpine is a beautiful brand, powerful and vibrant, that brings a smile to the faces of its followers. By introducing Alpine, a symbol of French excellence, to the most prestigious of the world’s automotive disciplines, we are continuing the adventure of manufacturers in a renewed sport. We are bringing a dream brand alongside the biggest names, for spectacular car races made and followed by enthusiasts. Alpine will also bring its values to the F1 paddock: elegance, ingenuity, and audacity,” said Luca De Meo, CEO Groupe Renault.
The 2021 season will mark the first time the Alpine name will be used in Formula 1; Alpine is more known for rallying historically, but has been inactive for a long time. Prior to the run-up of the brand's relaunch, Alpine partnered with Signatech to compete in endurance racing, and won the 2013 title in LMP2.

The rebrand to Alpine also means the Fernando Alonso in the sport. The Spanish driver won two championships with Renault F1 in 2005 and 2006.
“This change comes at a key moment in the trajectory of the team and the sport. Alpine brings a new meaning, new values, and colors to the paddock with the spirit of competition from other worlds and French creative agility. These will be assets in the preparation of 2022 deadlines,” said Cyril Abiteboul, Team Principal Renault DP World F1 Team.
Will the 2021 season prove to be successful for the soon to be renamed Renault team? Hopefully so. So far this 2021, the French team has been competitive and is currently 5th in the Constructor’s Championship.
