Toyota Motorsport Heritage Museum is now open

Aside from watching angry race cars drive on the track, a true motorsport fan would grab the chance to see a great collection of motorsport vehicles cooped up in one place.

Think of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the NISMO festival, or the Honda Collection Hall. Those are the places any gearhead would love to visit – but we'll add one more.

Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe has opened the doors of its Motorsport Heritage Museum in Cologne, Germany. Located in what used to be the base of Toyota's Formula One team, the museum has a great collection of the Japanese brand's original motorsport vehicles that raced from 1973 to the present day.

Fans can get up close with the likes of the iconic Toyota GT-One and other Le Mans prototypes, as well as the brand's WRC cars like the Celica GT-Four, the Corolla WRC, and the current GR Yaris Rally1. But more importantly, Toyota's Formula One cars from the 2001 prototype to the final TF109 are there.

TGR Europe says the museum can be explored in about 90 minutes on a guided tour, which means there are indeed plenty of race cars to check out. Tickets and visiting slots are limited, and groups of 24 visitors can visit at a total cost of EUR 420 (PHP 25,000+), so it's a little over PHP 1,000 each.
