Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 gets a splash of red for 2026
Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team reveals livery for 2026 WRC season

Toyota Gazoo Racing has dominated the 2025 season of the World Rally Championship, winning 12 out of the 14 rounds and claiming another title double with the constructors’ championship and Sebastien Ogier taking the drivers’ crown.

As the regulations are pretty much mostly the same as last year, Toyota Gazoo Racing is looking to continue its dominance in the sport for 2026 with the GR Yaris Rally1. Now, they have revealed their team colors with a splash of striking red.

The GR Yaris Rally1 retains the signature GR logos on the hood and sides of the car, but instead of the matte black introduced in 2024, TGR-WRT has reverted to the red, white, and black color scheme that they used from 2017-2023.
Reigning champion Sebastien Ogier will once again contest a partial campaign for 2026, while full-time drivers Takamoto Katsuta and Elfyn Evans will now be joined by 2025 WRC2 champion Oliver Solberg, the son of 2003 WRC champion Petter Solberg.

Solberg is effectively replacing Kalle Rovanperä who’s now racing in Super Formula. The 2026 WRC season starts at the Monte Carlo Rally on January 22 to 25, where 5 GR Yaris Rally1 units will make up the 11 entries for the Rally1 class.
