This company can build a brand new Formula One car for you
Tour De Force is selling a brand new F1 car for personal track use

If you happen to be in the market for an extreme track-only vehicle, there are numerous options to choose from in the market from automakers around the world. Aston has the Valkyrie AMR Pro, Ferrari has the FXX models, and McLaren has the Senna GTR. However, it seems they have all been beat when it comes to the wildest track-only vehicle. British firm Tour De Force is now offering what is essentially brand new Formula One car for sale.
Called the TDF-1, it is basically a 2011 to 2012 era Formula 1 car. Specifically, Tour De Force uses the chassis and parts of the 2011 Marussia and 2012 Sauber F1 cars to build the TDF-1. Buyers can even pick which parts from which manufacturer will be used on their complete cars. What makes it better than an F1 car is that owners can run it without needing a team of mechanics. TDF even goes on to say you can take it on a track day alone and without any trouble.

Despite the availability of parts to choose from, the engine is the same for all TDF-1 models. No, it won’t be powered by the high-revving 2.4-liter V8 of the original F1 car. Instead, it will use a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that cranks out 600 horsepower and revs to 9,000 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox powering the rear wheels. TDF says both engine and gearbox are stressed members, meaning the assembly forms a component of the chassis itself like an F1 car.
While some might say that the new engine is a big downgrade, do remember that F1 engines require a lot of maintenance. Switching to the turbo four-cylinder will make the TDF-1 more reliable all together, and the company says it has about 95% of the performance of the real F1 cars from the same era.
It’s not down on performance either as it can still generate 4.0G in high-speed corners and up to 4.5 G under braking. Top speed is rated at around 322 km/h and 0 to 97 km/h takes under 2.0 seconds.
Each car comes with a set of soft, medium, and hard tires made by Pirelli, and are wrapped in the same 13-inch OZ wheels. Buyers will also get a set of pit equipment, spares and even a flight case to transport the car around the world.
Price? There no official word just yet. But considering it is essentially a brand new F1 car, it will be expensive.
