The Destroyer salvages third place for Team AutoIndustriya.com
The AutoIndustriya.com Drift Team managed to salvage third place despite being marred by clutch problems for the whole event.

The hot summer sun took its toll on several cars which suffered from problems ranging from engine to transmission problems at the second leg of the Lateral Drift Championships held last May 23 at the Greenhills Shopping Center in the City of San Juan. The AutoIndustriya.com Drift Team managed to salvage third place despite being marred by clutch problems for the whole event.
Running with the intermittent problem from the Qualifying runs, Jason "The Destroyer" Choachuy managed to qualify in third for Top 16 and made one successful pass before a mechanical failure as the team rushed to fix the car for the Top 8 Tandem Runs. Choachuy managed to advance to the quarterfinals but was relegated to battle it out for final podium spot with veteran driver Chukri Prieto.
"It wasn't a very good day for us as a problem with the clutch master cylinder almost forced us to back out of the event today. Luckily for us, Mark Rosca of Team Forced Speed lent us the part from his car and we were able to fix the car in time for the Top 8 Tandem Runs. We really wouldn't have made it into the quarterfinals without his help, we would really like to thank Mr. Rosca," said Mr. Brent Co, Team Principal.

Choachuy is currently tied for first in the championship standings with Alex Perez going into the third round of the Lateral Drift Championship, to be held on June 27 in Greenhills Promenade.
