Combined efforts of Team Philippines drivers earn country the Nations Championship Trophy

The Philippine flag is flying high on the international motorsports stage.
The combined efforts of Filipino motorsports and e-sports drivers have netted the country the Overall Nations Champion trophy at the recently concluded 2025 FIA Asia Pacific Motorsport Championship. Held at the Sri Lanka Karting Circuit, the event gathered hundreds of competitors from 25 participating countries across the APAC region in a showdown of racing talents through a variety of disciplines.

The country fielded a strong lineup that consisted of drivers such as Inigo Anton, Rain Acejas, Ricardo Dy-Liacco, Richard Gallardo, Louie Camacho, Axel Nocom, Tino Zaragoza, Ricky Montelibano, Paco Sarmiento, as well as e-Sports drivers Russel Reyes and Luis Moreno.
The local racing talents competed in events such as Auto Gymkhana, Cross Car Autocross, Karting Endurance, Karting Slalom, Karting Sprint, and e-Sports.

The FIA created the APMC with the goal of creating an accessible, cost-conscious platform that showcases the very best talents in motorsports for the Asia Pacific region. By providing a unified stage for competition, the event aspires to elevate and highlight the skills of participants, teams, and drivers, paving the way for their broader recognition on an international scale.
