RMSC Opens 2011 National Slalom Series on March 6
Race Motorsports Club opens its 2011 National Slalom Series this Sunday, March 6 at the Robinsons Nova Market parking lot in Quezon City. The longest running motorsport discipline in the country promises adrenaline-packed slalom racing action for both competitors and spectators alike.

Race Motorsports Club opens its 2011 National Slalom Series this Sunday, March 6 at the Robinsons Nova Market parking lot in Quezon City. The longest running motorsport discipline in the country promises adrenaline-packed slalom racing action for both competitors and spectators alike.
Registration starts at 8 am and practice will begin at 11 am. A free slalom clinic will also be provided from 9 to 10 am in the morning for beginners. When the clock hits 11:30 am, the lights turn green as the official runs get going. Expect loads of fuel-burning and tire-screeching action as some of the country's most talented drivers tear up the track. Competing in this year's series are Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Bill Chill Racing, Ernie Moreno of Autofastion Team, Dwight Kevin Carlos, Donber Bumatay and Nino Sarte of DKC/T Factory, and Stephen Pelayo of Team Ultimate. Other teams will also join in the fray from MitsuLancerPh, Circle Cy Racing Group, Street Legal, C Auto Performance, and Grupo Toyota.
The National Slalom Series is affiliated with the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) and FIA and is sponsored by Federal Tyres, Shell Helix Motor Oils, Dubshop Magwheels Inc., Outlast Battery, Auto Transporter, Tripnotic Lab Creative Media Experiment, Forsc Inc Mobile System, Starbright Body Kits, Robinsons Nova Market and Robinsons Malls with media partners Stoplight TV, Inside Motoring, Wave 89.1, C! Magazine, Turbo Time, Wheel to Wheel Magazine, Autoindustriya.com, and Kotse.com.
As an affiliate of the AAP, contenders are required to use homologated Federal Tyres in 75% of the series or (9) nine legs to be eligible as a National and Class Champion. All drivers must also possess at least an AAP Clubman racing license.
