Report: Jaguar shortlists 3 drivers for upcoming Formula-E team
Jaguar partners with Williams Advanced Engineering for Formula-E, names three potential drivers

As Formula-E gains traction in motorsports, more and more teams are joining in the all-electric open wheel series. British automaker Jaguar is the latest to join in.
Partnered with Williams Advanced Engineering, Jaguar is close to sealing the deal just before the 2015-2016 season ends. According to Motorsport.com, Jaguar has shortlisted Antonio Felix da Costa, Sam Bird and defending champ Nelson Piquet. Being a British brand, Jaguar is also considering the addition of a British driver for their Formula-E campaign.
At the moment, Bird drives for DS Virgin Racing while Piquet carries the banner for NEXTEV TCR. Apart from Jaguar, Team Aguri's da Costa has also piqued the interest of Williams but no official statement from the driver or the teams have been made.
Jaguar is set to undergo testing around May and should be able to present the FIA their homologated engine to run in the series by the month's end.
