Red Bull launches their 2015 Formula One car
Black and white Renault-powered Red Bull RB11 makes debut for pre-season testing

After a dominating season from Mercedes-Benz, the Red Bull Formula One (F1) team has unleashed its new challenger for the 2015 season.
Wrapped in black and white test livery for this week's pre-season testing, Red Bull's RB 11 is packed with a number of improvements as the team aims to have a better campaign this season. The RB11 features a lower nose box and a redesigned front chassis which were designed in line with the 2015 F1 regulations but Red Bull's main focus was to tweak the RB11's power unit.
“There are some changes that affect the shape of the front of the car but beyond that most of the changes are under the skin. There won’t be a lot that’s visible to the naked eye but a lot of hard work has gone into the bits that are hidden,” said Red Bull F1 chief engineering officer Rob Marshall.

According to Red Bull, the bulk of the development process has involved improvements to Renault Sport's Energy F1 power unit which was tuned in close collaboration with the team. Red Bull's chief technical officer Adrian Newey said that they have been working very hard with Renault to help them develop the engine.

“Our target is to close the gap down and put Mercedes under as much pressure as we possibly can. We know what we’re aiming at, we know what we need to achieve and I believe that with the RB11 we should be able to do that,” Horner said.
The Renault-powered RB11 will be driven by Daniel Ricciardo and new teammate Daniil Kvyat who joins the team after a successful rookie season with sister team Toro Rosso.
