Raikkonen's contract with Ferrari renewed for 2017
The Iceman will continue to race in Formula 1 with the Prancing Horse

Finnish racing driver Kimi ‘The Iceman’ Raikkonen will still compete under Scuderia Ferrari after the racing team announced that they have extended their contract with Raikkonen for 2017.
As a result, next year’s driver lineup will still consist of The Iceman, along with fellow teammate Sebastian Vettel who first joined Scuderia Ferrari in 2015.
“This is the best team in F1, together we won a title in 2007, we had good years and some difficult ones. I’m really happy to be part of Ferrari, the atmosphere is fantastic, we are always pushing each other forward and hopefully we’ll get the team back where it belongs,” said Raikkonen.
In addition, Raikkonen plans on finishing his racing career with Ferrari. Last year, the Finn racing driver also stated this when the racing team renewed their agreement for the 2016 season. He did not say however, when he plans on retiring.
“I've always said, nearly 10 years ago, that my last team would be Ferrari and it's still like that. What happens in the future I don't know. Time will tell, but I usually don't make plans for a very long future,” added Raikkonen.
