Motul joins McLaren Formula 1 Team as an official supplier
Motul will provide the McLaren F1 Team with high-performance transmission lubricants

McLaren Racing today announced Motul, a global company that specializes in the formulation, production, and distribution of high-performance lubricants, as an Official Supplier of the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
With it, Motul will join the McLaren F1 team for the 2026 season and beyond, and will provide the team with high-performance transmission lubricants.
“We are delighted to welcome Motul to the McLaren Formula 1 Team. Motul has a proud history of innovation and technical excellence, attributes that closely mirror our own legacy. We look forward to working together in this exciting partnership,” said Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer at McLaren Racing.
Meanwhile, Andreea Culcea, Chief Brand & Communications Officer at Motul, shared that Motul’s partnership with McLaren marks the company’s return to Formula 1.
“This partnership with McLaren marks Motul’s return to Formula 1, a discipline where we have written some of the most exhilarating moments of our history. This is a great opportunity to combine both of our expertise in the pursuit of performance and innovation. We are particularly proud that our fluids contribute to the outstanding performance of one of the most prestigious racing teams in the world,” added Culcea.
With Motul making its return to Formula 1 after 50 years, the lubricant specialist will provide the McLaren Formula 1 Team with high-performance transmission lubricants in the years to come.
