MIAS 2010: Chevrolet Cruze PH Touring Car unveiled
Highlighting the brand's display dubbed Chevy Race Arena, was the unveiling of the Chevy Cruze Philippine Touring Car part of the newly developed Chevrolet Motorsports Program (CMP).

The new Chevrolet Philippines, made its first major public appearance at the recently concluded 6th Manila International Auto Show at the World Trade Center and is pulling all stops to bring the Filipino car enthusiast everything the brand has to offer in car customization and motorsports. Highlighting the brand's display dubbed "Chevy Race Arena", was the unveiling of the Chevy Cruze Philippine Touring Car part of the newly developed Chevrolet Motorsports Program (CMP).
The Chevy Cruze PhTC is based on the Chevy Cruze 1.8L LS Manual variant. Modifications include: BRE (Stainless Steel Intake System, BRE Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold, BRE Stainless Steel Exhaust system with Twin Exhaust Mufflers, Custom Designed Roll Cage, Fully Stripped-Down Race Interior, WTCC Cruze Wide-Body Kit, Recaro Racing Shell, Momo Steering Wheel, Momo Racing Pedals, and Momo Racing Harness.

The CMP Chevy Cruze PhTC project was developed by Blanco Race Engineering (BRE) (headed by Autoplus Race Engineer Francisco Blanco) in cooperation with Motul, Concept One, Atoy Bodykits, Fremuff, MJ Auto-Shop, Turbo Large Format Printing, Recaro, Auto Plus, Ultra Racing, Blanco Marketing, Habitat, Philippine Auto Club (PAC), and AutoIndustriya.com.
To further highlight car customization, customized versions of the Aveo and Cruze compact car were displayed along with the 2010 Captiva compact SUV and the 2010 Camaro which will be sold in local showrooms soon.

Also part of the CMP is the Don Pastor Racing School at the Chevy Race Arena led by 25-year-old race driver Don Pastor. The young Chevrolet Brand Ambassador provided racing tips and free lessons for the duration of the Manila International Auto Show.
