Mercedes W07 revealed as 2016 F1 contender
Mercedes unveils 2016 F1 racer amid testing season

Mercedes has revealed their bid for the 2016 F1 championship in the form of the W07 Hybrid. After winning two constructor’s titles as well as Lewis Hamilton’s pair of driver’s titles in 2014 and 2015, Mercedes looks to be aiming for a turkey for 2016.
Aiming for "optimization absolutely everywhere," technical executive director Paddy Lowe says that Mercedes GP is still aiming for perfection despite their two-year streak.
"Our objective is excellence in all areas and, while we had some fantastic results last year, there are many areas in which we can still be much better."
"We had a number of races that didn't go to plan in 2015 - Singapore in particular - so there were a lot of things that needed improving for 2016."
While the exterior remains pretty much the same – as is the case with stable regulations over the past years – underneath the W07’s skin are a series of “mini revolutions that make up an overall evolution” of the car for this season.

Currently it appears Mercedes is still mum about the details of the changes within the new car. That said however, it appears they’ve made revisions mainly to the engine wherein they seek to improve on some reliability issues they’ve suffered from in 2015.
Mercedes GP have actually brought the W07 out for a promotional event in Silverstone last week, with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton clocking a little under 100kms between the two of them. More details on the new F1 racers should present themselves after the pre-season testing in Spain this week.
