Mendiola tops the 5th leg of the Shell Helix National Slalom series

Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Big Chill Racing Team indeed heads for his 5^th straight win after capturing the Overall and Production best time of the day in the recently concluded 5^th leg of the Shell Helix National slalom Series held at Robinsons Nova Market.

Mendiola managed to steal the win from Milo Rivera of Fern C Racing Team who was on the lead for most of the day. Rivera held the title all throughout the day until the last class where Dr. Peewee managed had great run.

Milo Rivera of Fern C Racing Team came in second fastest with a time of 55.46 seconds followed by Noel Rivera 55.60 seconds 4^th was Pathrick Bautista of DKC Team with 58.44 seconds and Dax Santiano with 58.68 seonds, Pathrick Bautista meanwhile dominated the Production Front Wheel Best Time with a time of 58.44 seconds.

For the Novice category, Abet Reyes of Big Chill Racing Team won with a time of 59.42

The 6th Leg of the RACE Motorsports Club Shell Helix Slalom Series will be held at SM Sucat Parking Lot on July 15, 2012. Registration starts at 8am with Open Practice runs til 10am and afterwhich only 2 official practice runs will be given until 11:30 am. Late comers will only be given 1 practice run. Official runs will start at 12 noon.
