Mendioala, Rivera, Bautista rules 9th Shell national slalom
Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Big Chill Racing Team once again bagged the overall and rear wheel production best time at the 9th leg of the Shell Helix National Slalom.

Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Big Chill Racing Team once again bagged the overall and rear wheel production best time of the day in the recently concluded 9th leg of the Shell Helix National Slalom series at Robinsons Nova Market parking lot with a time of 51.94 seconds.
Meanwhile Milo Rivera of FERN C Racing Team finished with 2nd place with a time 52.22 seconds followed by Noel Rivera of the same team with a time of 53.18 seconds making him finish third place.
On fourth place was Peque Alacbay of Team Soleil with a time of 54.30 seconds and 5th place went to Pathrick Bautista of DKC Racing Team with a time of 54.60 seconds who also bagged the Front Wheel Overall Best time of the day.
For the Novice category, it was Estefano Rivera of Fern C Team who won with a time 55.30 seconds.
The event was participated in by the different car clubs headed by Team Big Chill, Fern C, Auto Fastion, Kapampangan Racing Team, Tarlac Auto Group, Wholesome Concepts of Baguio City, Cabanatuan Auto club, Speedstar, GR-1 Race Pampanga, Blanche Racing Team.
The 10th Leg of the Race Motorsports Club Shell Helix Slalom Series will be held at the parking lot of SM Sucat on October 21, 2012. Registration starts at 8am with open practice runs until 10am. Late comers will only be given 1 practice run. Official runs will start at 12 noon.
