McLaren-Honda unveils 2015 F1 car
The MP4-30 F1 car will be powered by a Honda RA615H Hybrid engine

McLaren-Honda has revealed their challenger for the 2015 FIA Formula One (F1) World Championship.
The MP4-30 is McLaren's first Honda-powered F1 car in 23 years. According to the team, the MP4-30 has been developed to provide the McLaren-Honda with the “most effective and practical base package.” The team claims that their new challenger for the 2015 F1 season is a “throughly refined evolution of last year's McLaren” packed with “exciting new technical DNA.”

In terms of the design, McLaren-Honda's F1 car features a revised red, black and silver livery. It has been aerodynamically refined under the supervision of Peter Prodromou, a renowned aerodynamicist who was formerly part of the Red Bull F1 team. Moroever, the MP4-30 comes with a refined nose, slim rear-end, contoured body and a Honda RA615H Hybrid power unit.

The official drivers for the McLaren-Honda F1 team are former F1 World Champions Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button. On the other hand, Kevin Magnussen will be the team's test and reserve driver.
The MP4-30 is scheduled to make its track debut at the start of pre-season testing in Spain this weekend. Alonso will be the first driver to test the MP4-30 in Jerez from February 1 to 4.
