McLaren confirmed to race in the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge
The McLaren 12C GT3 will debut next month under K-PAX Racing at the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge.

McLaren makes its way back to the North American racing scene after K-PAX Racing confirmed their entry driving a 12C GT3 at the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge. This will be the first time the 12C GT3 will be found racing stateside after finding success in races about since 2012.
McLaren has always had a great track record in North America with a record 43 race victories and five championships in the Can-Am series between 1967 and 1971 plus three wins at the legendary Indy 500, in 1972, 1974 and 1976.
In last year’s campaign, the 12C GT3 tallied 23 victories, 39 podiums, 27 pole positions and 3 championship titles.
Alex Figge and Robert Thorne will be behind the wheel of the two 12C GT3s fielded in by K-PAX Racing in 16 races through nine dates this season.
The Pirelli World Challenge is a 50-minute sprint in some of the world’s-best purpose-built tracks and street circuits across the USA and Canada. The series is sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing.

The K-PAX Racing 12C GT3 will make its racing debut at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on 28-30 March 2014.
