McLaren adds cyberpunk-inspired graphics for Singapore, Japanese GPs

The Singapore and Japanese Grand Prix returns to the Formula One calendar for the first time in two years. And to celebrate the return of Asian races in F1, McLaren, and its sponsor OKX have decided to activate “Future Mode”.

Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo are racing in Singapore and Japan with a bespoke celebration livery - adding some neon pink cyberpunk-inspired designs with the trademark Fluoro Papaya paint in the MCL36.

According to McLaren, the futuristic livery is inspired by the cityscapes of Singapore and Japan and represents the emergence of new technologies from the region. It also highlights the two brands' future-facing partnership, in which OKX is evolving its crypto platform while McLaren is pushing its journey to return to the sharp end of the grid.

For McLaren fans, limited-edition McLaren Racing x OKX Future Mode shirts will be available for purchase through the McLaren Store. And for those playing F1 22, the Future Mode livery will go live by October 11.

Needless to say, it will be interesting to see what the neon livery will look like under the floodlights of the Marina Bay circuit this weekend.
