Maxxis Tires headlines 2014 NAsFOR 4x4 series
National Association of Filipino Off-Roaders and Maxxis Tires launch the 2014 Maxxis Cup: 4x4 Extreme Off-Road Challenge.

The National Association of Filipino Off-Roaders (NAsFOR) launched the 2014 Maxxis Cup: 4x4 Extreme Off-Road Challenge, a twelve-leg off-road series with competitions held in major cities from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The off-road organization is composed of different off-road clubs representing different cities and provinces in the Philippines.
The National Extreme 4x4 Series is an annual championship series organized by NAsFOR to promote the sport of off-road racing as a motorsport platform where Filipino drivers can excel in and eventually compete in International events like the Rainforest Challenge or the Australian Tuff Truck Challenge. The organization has been staging national and regional (local) events since 2002 hosted by its member clubs in different cities. NAsFOR events are run under strict rules to ensure fair and safe competition while promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie among its participants and members.

The 2014 series is presented by Maxxis Tires, featuring their high-performance mud terrain tires in cooperation with Mobil automotive lubricants. The series will have 12 extreme off-road events for the year, with its debut event in Cebu.
