During qualifying for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world's most prestigious sportscar endurance race, a duo of Audi R18 e-tron quattros took the front row of the grid.
The 80th running of the legendary Le Mans 24 hours will see the Audi driven by Andre Lotterer, Marcel Fassler and Benoit Treluyer (#1 Audi R18 e-tron) defend their title from pole position. They are followed by the the car driven by Marc Gene, Romain Dumas and Loic Duval (#3 Audi R18 Ultra).
Toyota is back in top form at Le Mans, as the car driven by Anthony Davidson, Sebastien Buemi and Stephane Sarrazin (#8 Toyota TS030 Hybrid) took 3rd spot, next to the Audi of Allan McNish, Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen. Kristensen is the most successful driver in the history of the sport.
