Kimi Räikkönen is coming back to COTA... in a NASCAR
Finnish F1 champ racing in NASCAR Cup Series race in Austin on March 26

We haven't heard much from the Iceman since he had his one-off stint in a NASCAR cup car last year. But now the Finnish F1 champ will be back behind the wheel of a stock car, this time in a track he knows very well.

Kimi Räikkönen has announced his return to NASCAR on his official Instagram account, which says “Nascar is nice. I'm back with @teamtrackhouse and @iloq_official at COTA in Austin."
As Formula One fans can remember, the Circuit of the Americas is the track where Räikkönen clinched his 21st and final win back in 2018. While the Trackhouse No. 91 Chevrolet will obviously drive differently from the Ferrari, his knowledge of the track will definitely play to his advantage.

Last year, Kimi was running in the top ten at Watkins Glen – a track where he had no prior experience. Unfortunately, he crashed out through no fault of his own, so he failed to finish the race.
Despite being out of the F1 limelight for a while now, the Iceman still has a massive fanbase. His return behind the wheel will definitely be one to watch out for. So for Kimi fans out there, mark your calendars. The Iceman is racing again at COTA on March 26.
