Jordan's NASCAR Toyota Camry shown with #23 and Bulls colors
We can't wait to see Michael Jordan’s NASCAR #23 Toyota Camry in action

Earlier this year, basketball legend Michael Jordan announced that he will be joining NASCAR. He won’t be driving even though that would have been very cool to watch, but he will be the team owner of 23XI Racing. NASCAR veteran Denny Hamlin will be co-owner and Bubba Wallace will be their driver.
At the time, it wasn’t announced what car his team will be fielding. Now, we know – it’s a Toyota. Nearly two months since their initial announcement to join NASCAR, the 23XI Racing team has finally revealed their NASCAR race car – a Toyota Camry with the number 23. Very apt.

The car itself is identical to other NASCAR-spec Toyota Camry challengers competing in the series built by Toyota Racing Development, U.S.A. (TRD). Aside from building and providing the race car, Toyota’s performance division will also provide technology, data, and other technical assistance needed by 23XI Racing.
As for the car itself, it features a red-white-black livery inspired by Jordan’s former NBA team – the Chicago Bulls. His signature number 23 adorns the doors while the 23XI Racing team logo can be found on the hood and quarter panels. As cool as the car looks now, do expect to see additional stickers on the car in the future as more sponsors possibly join in.

Unsurprisingly, Jordan only has one goal for his NASCAR team – to win. Considering it is their first time to join the series, it is a tall order. Hopefully, we see some of Jordan’s greatness transfer to Wallace behind the wheel.
“My main goal for 23XI Racing is to be competitive for a championship as soon as possible,” Jordan said. “Our partnership with Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing gives us the equipment, resources, and expertise to do it.”

For those who have been waiting to see #23 in action again, you won’t have to wait too long. The #23 Toyota Camry will debut at the 2021 Daytona 500 on February 14, 2021. Just remember it won't be on the court this time and Jordan himself won't be driving.
What do you think of Michael Jordan’s NASCAR Toyota Camry? Should there be some Air Jordan logos there too? Let us know.
