IndyCar driver Justin Wilson in a coma after crash
Wilson suffered a severe head injury during a race at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania

IndyCar driver Justin Wilson is in a coma after suffering a severe head injury during the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania.
According to the Verizon IndyCar Series, the 37-year-old Wilson was airlifted at Lehigh Valley Health Network Cedar Crest Hospital and is in critical condition.
The Andretti Autosport driver appeared to be hit by debris from Sage Karam's car when it crash in front of him during the final laps of the race. Karam was able to get out of his car and incurred a foot injury.
As of this writing, Verizon IndyCar Series sends its thoughts and prayers to Wilson, his family and Andretti Autosport during this difficult time.
