Tokyo 2013: Honda celebrates F1 return and birth anniversary of founder with RA271 display

With Honda's impending return to F1 in 2015 and the already extensive work they've done on their 2015 1.6L turbocharged V6 engine on the dyno, they decided on a throwback and put on display at the 43^rd the Tokyo Motor Show their 1964 Honda RA271, which they ran in the Formula One World Championship that year.

It was a one-off unit with a 1.5-liter V12 engine with 220 horsepower and a 6-speed manual transmission wrapped in an aluminium monocoque package.  It now makes its home at the Honda Collection Hall at Motegi but since the Sunday before the Tokyo Motor Show marked the 107^th birth anniversary of their founder Soichiro Honda, they flew it down and put it as part of the Honda display as the 43^rd Tokyo Motor Show.
