GT3 Race Manila set for June postponed
GT3 Race Manila gets the temporary axe for its upcoming June 15-16 event.

After much hype about the much-awaited GT3 Race Manila exhibition event featuring GT3 supercars blasting through the streets of Manila, the event has been temporarily given the axe. Rumors have been circling around town the past few weeks about the cancellation of the event. The event was originally scheduled for June 15 to 16 in time for the celebrations of 'Araw ng Maynila', the city's proclamation day.
A well-placed source has confirmed today that the event will not be pushing through. The exhibition race also reported failed to get an FIA accreditation from the local motorsport body Automobile Association of the Philipines (AAP). Our source was however quick to say that they were looking at 2014 to restart the project.
